ADOLF RICHARD FLEISCHMANN German, 1892-1968 Fleischmann's Paris studio, which contained all his works, was destroyed during World War II. Previously committed to a severe structural design pattern, the artist then began to make subtle changes to his signature rigid geometric style. His sweeping linear paintings are made up of lines, stripes and figurations that then became looser.
