Matt Kleberg was born in Kingsville, Texas. He received his BA from the University of Virginia in 2008 and his MFA from the Pratt Institute in 2015. Recent exhibitions include Mulherin New York; Schema Projects, New York, ; Morgan Lehman Gallery, New York; Johansson Projects, California; Barry Whistler Gallery,Dallas; Hiram Butler Gallery, Houston; and the Old Jail Art Center, Albany, Texas. His work has been written about in the New York Times, The Brooklyn Rail, Maake Magazine, Painting is Dead, Artsy, Vice, ArtDaily,New American Paintings, Blouin Artinfo, ArtMaze Magazine, and Artillery Magazine. His work is included in public and private collections including the the Williams College Museum of Art, the University of California Santa Barbara Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and the National Gallery of Art. Kleberg lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
